Consistently voted “Best Middle Eastern” and “Best Mediterranean” in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Levon Der Bedrossian opened La Méditeranée in 1979 with the goal of serving good food in a pleasant environment, with warm and friendly service. Now celebrating its 42nd year, our family-owned and operated restaurant continues to meet that commitment and we are proud to be part of the San Francisco community. Our Mid-East and Mediterranean cuisine is inspired by Armenian and Lebanese family recipes. Each dish is made from scratch daily, using only the finest spices and freshest ingredients.

La Mediterranée is Open for Limited Indoor Seating and Outdoor Dining in our Heated Patio!

Our full menu, including specials from our wine list is now available. We also offer local catering delivery for boxed meals or family style platters.

La Mediterranee’s Commitment to the Environment

We have developed farm-to-table partnerships with local farmers including Mary’s Chicken (Petaluma, CA), Marin Sun Farms (Point Reyes, CA) & Superior Farms (Dixon, CA). Sourcing locally is good for the environment and for our local economy.

Black Lives MatterWe stand with #BlackLivesMatter

La Mediterranée wishes to take a strong stance in support of racial justice in America. We acknowledge that we must prioritize and commit ourselves to advancing racial equity as an organizational imperative. We welcome all people from all backgrounds as our customers and as members of our team. Nearly every management position at La Mediterranée is held either by a person of color, a woman, a member of the LGBTQ community, or a person of immigrant background. Our extensive charity work, donations, and fundraisers support a myriad of diverse causes in the community. We also know that commitment without greater action is meaningless to those most impacted by racism.

La Mediterranée stands in solidarity with those protesting systemic racism on the frontlines and from home. We believe that racism has no place in the restaurant industry or in our country.
